has access to the resources they need to build successful and prosperous careers.

FOUNDER INTRODUCTION
The NC Skill Builders Institute was Founded by Terese Swan Hutchison the Owner of The Dooby Shop School of Cosmetology to address a significant gap in the education system for students pursuing careers in beauty, barbering, and skilled trades.
Many of the schools in these industries, including smaller institutions like The Dooby Shop School of Cosmetology, do not have access to traditional financial aid programs, leaving talented and passionate students unable to afford the education they need to succeed. NCSBI was founded to bridge this gap by providing scholarships, internships, and financial assistance to under-served students and individuals with criminal backgrounds to ensure they have the resources to achieve their career goals and build a better future.
